Dr. Behzad Poopak, Associate Professor of Islamic Azad University of Medical Sciences, last week in a webinar entitled CoVID-19, considering the prevalence of CoVID-19 in the society and the need for specialized information regarding the various dimensions of this disease. In this webinar, some important issues explained in depth such as; how to deal with and manage this disease by using the Clinical Laboratory Tests: Molecular, Serological & Routine (with emphasis on safety, specimen collection & interpretation). Additionally, he Explained the generalities of CoVID-19 and its diagnostic laboratory methods for target groups; Laboratory Managers, quality managers, supervisors and colleagues of technical departments of medical diagnosis laboratory.

In this Online session, Dr. Poopak, while pointing to the biological characteristics of the new coronavirus, the etiology and epidemiology of the virus, the symptoms of the disease and the clinical manifestations of patients with CoVID-19, also made some remarks about the conditions of molecular (PCR) and serological tests. The results of the experimental control and their interpretation were discussed and explained briefly based on the latest guidelines.
