These days, with the concern of the Pandemic of the CoVID-19 in the country, performing a molecular test on the throat and nasopharyngeal swab samples for molecular detection of Covid-19 become a matter of public interest (determining the presence of the SARS CoV-2).
According to the Director-General of the Health Reference Laboratory, only the results of the CoVID-19 Molecular Diagnosis Test laboratories evaluated and approved by the Ministry of Health that follow its instructions – have been approved by the competent centers, and this evaluation has been done in two stages. In the first phase, universities will evaluate laboratories based on quality assurance and biosafety standards, and in the second phase, the Pasteur Institute, which leads the network, will ensure that these tests are performed with the required quality and speed.
In the latest period of supervisory evaluation of the Vice Chancellor for Treatment of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and the Experimental Skills of the Pasteur Institute of Iran, Payvand Clinical and Specialty Laboratory has obtained the necessary criteria to accept and perform the CoVID-19 molecular diagnostic tests.
This test can be performed daily (at a certain time) at Payvand Laboratory and all steps of the work can be provided according to the latest national and international guidelines with the best level of accuracy and speed.
Hours of in-person admission and on-site sampling for CoVID-19 molecular test (SARA-CoV-2):
Saturday to Wednesday: 6:30 to 19:00
Thursday: 6:30 to 17:00
If the CoVID-19 PCR test is admitted before 2 pm, the test result will be ready on a daily basis!
